If you have no connection to either side, why do you think the PI claimant side should offer up whiplash? It is after all an injury that has existed since time immemorial and is an injury compensated for in damages when caused by someone else's negligence.

Why do you think whiplash is a national joke? What facts or figures have you relied upon in coming to that determination?

Make no mistake, these questions are not intended to attack, but more to point to a need for education rather than reliance on propaganda, lurid headlines and the acceptance that because a very powerful lobby group says something must be so, that it is so.

As the select committee established, the "epidemic" headline continues to be argued when whiplash claims are falling. Also bear in mind that "whiplash" claims reported to the CRU may not be whiplash alone or event he most significant injury, but if that is the first thing on the form that is what will be shown.
