Spent almost two hours watching this. Boy it felt good! ABI's Mr Dalton either shared Mr Trumps body colourist or was getting agitated?
As a pending PI and liability claimant against a large insurer I have a vested interest. Although the PI reforms will not affect me, I challenge this change on behalf of those it will affect.
The insurance industry began the claims culture by bringing it from over the pond, It was predicted by news broadcasters in the mid 90's. Government creating ABS type companies post Jackson has hindered justice not benefitted it, by creating non-legally trained (pfft sorry) professionals to excercise fees earning by giving advice to claimants.
The ABI says that the combined ratio has created only 1 profit for an insurer in the last decade, a quick look on a large insurers website promoting shares says different.

That is why 3 years and 4 months on I am still waiting for a judge to find me my answers?
1. If a partnership between an insurer and an ABS creates a 'conflict of interest' is it not prudent to give the option of remaining a client to the client?
2. If the ABS further decides to chase it's client for PI damages 12 months after the incident on behalf of the defendant, what then would a judge say as opposed to what the other jokers have said I.e LeO and SRA who say no wrong has been committed?
3. An ongoing direct communication with the defendant in the first few days after the incident came to an abrupt halt after the defendant showed disappointment for my telling the ABS I had pain in my shoulder two days after I told the ABS?
The system is broken by compulsive greed! The easiest targets to blame are the claimants! The Government bends to the will of the wealthy few! There seems little effort by the powers to stop the escalation of injustice!
