Two things. Complexity generally denotes the grade/hourly rate of what a claim should be charged at, not the experience of the FE. I have done PI work for 15 years so I can get grade A for say multi track fraud and grade C if I was doing a Pre-Action Disclosure APP. How come AXA did not challenge the rate at assessment? Why did they not say this work did not warrant a Grade A/B but a Grade C ? Did they failed to make this very very basis costs point 65 times ?

And finally - "'This is just the kind of behaviour that the insurance industry has been highlighting for years now, behaviour that is fuelling a compensation culture across the country.'" I see Mr. Di Franco could not resist the opportunity to refer to the "compensation culture" , which is a myth
