I agree that the approach this time-from all professions involved in the justice systems-should be to talk to the MoJ about making the justice system accessible to all and the adverse affect to Justice that under-resourcing the systems has upon access to justice.
If we allow the discussion to be only about fees then we let them off the hook, again.
The two tier debacle showed us at our worst. We battled the MoJ over fees and allowed the MoJ to set the agenda. Now look where we are? Back talking about fees again.
Let's change the conversation and challenge the #fakenews basis for the current MoJ proposals by directing the conversation towards the under-resourcing of the justice systems.
