Go and have a look at the history of uplift and why it was imposed allowed and what it was supposed to globally account for.

Maybe, maybe not, but it helps you understand uplift and causation and fighting unreasonable defences based on this.

It also helps you read and write, understand basic legal concepts and be able to do basic research which many LPC graduates on here don't seem to be able to do.

And of course it helps you understand proportionality and the person of reasonable means test ....
