If the insurer for a clinical negligence ATE product, and the insurer of an RTA insurance product are the same then this might hold true. It is unlikely though.

It is even more unlikely that motor premiums should not increase as the provider of the ATE insurance in this case only received circa £2,100.

'And if the insurer in this [CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE] case really did pocket £50,000 in premiums... I don't think there is any need to put up the cost of motor insurance, they are raking it in on PI premiums with Thompson's generous assistance.'

The link seems clear to me. if you have a different interpretation then we shall have to agree to differ in our views.
