As a higher court advocate and a partner in a firm which does PI as well as other areas of work, it will be interesting to see if we can unite this time or whether the 'divide and conquer' route which the government continually takes will eventually pull us all under. No inflation increase in crime fees in my 22 years of practice, but actually an 8.75 or 17% cut. What other so called profession would put up with this? And the LGFS proposal must be discriminatory as it doesn't apply to the AGFS. Do we have the collective will to fight this? History tells me no and the government know this, that's why they do what they do. No votes in it and no public sympathy. However those who failed to back the last action may find this is the straw that breaks everyone's back.
