Post Truth, did you use the Law Society's lobbying pack to put in a response and lobby your MP? Did you contact your local media? Did you read the Society's response to the consultation? Did you see the report they commissioned to challenge the Government's and insurance industry's position? Did you read the Hansard report of the Westminster Hall debate in January, or see the Select Committee using arguments the Law Society has developed to cross-examine the ABI rep? Have you read the joint statements from the Law Society, APIL and MASS, or the media coverage that has been generated on the issue?

What do you see as the next steps? Political lobbying? A judicial review - and if so on what grounds?

Do you seriously expect the Law Society to show its hand before the ink is dry on the Government's response? I would be ashamed of our professional body if it acted so recklessly.
