Anonymous at 20:23 as far as I'm aware we've only heard from the insurers themselves today not the re-insurers who are likely to take the short term hit on the multi million pound claims, let's hope they have plenty in reserve.

Not sure "gambling" is the right word as there's plenty of investment which aren't really a gamble, I wonder how many do invest in Government bonds anyway?
