Mr Crawford, you made the assertion that awards in France are lower than in the UK, and relied upon research from the '90s to do so.

When you do research (as you are best placed to read the original texts) this please let us know the actual compensation received for injury, and factor in differences in cost of medical care. For special damages we'll obviously need to know the difference in incomes between France and England and Wales.

Or you could just avoid the point and direct us to some compensation website that may or may not have correct figures.

ps The figures from the Recueil méthodologique commun pour l’indemnisation des dommages corporels seem comparable to me.
