I would even begin to compare the size of this sentence to other, much worse crimes as anyone who can read or watches the news knows how ridiculous the comparison is.

I have no doubt there will be some individuals sent down for infringing the copyright of a large film studio, the infringement barely putting a dent in their profit, to set an example, yet the poor individuals, such as Jonathan Webb below, who really do feel the squeeze of copyright infringement will be all but ignored despite the impact on their livelihoods and family. Those kind of copyright infringements need the biggest sentences based on the impact of it.
