I rather agree with Munby. Be careful. It is right that judgments can be challenged - that is the function of the appeals process. But it would be unwise to unpick the court's reasoning through (for example) media interviews with the judge concerned. That way, charismatic media friendly judges would be upheld, and less media friendly judge would be routinely excoriated.

We all know that judges have their foibles, but criticism of their judgments, and appeal from them, should be based solely on the judgments themselves, not on the judges' out of court comments to the media etc (which they shouldn't be making anyhow).
