The reason you are so poorly paid is because there are too many of you. When I started off at the end of the 80s lots of pupils made a decent living doing summary and jury trials. There was plenty of work but sadly chambers and solicitors' firms expanded recklessly out of pure greed and this is the end result. Blaming the government is pointless.
