Julie is correct. If consumers knew how much the tour operators paid the hotels for the food,I doubt they would feed it to the dog. All inclusive holidays, are in my view , a very bad thing. They devastate the local economy as our pink, wrist banded compatriots would rather drink warm anti freeze from cracked plastic beaker than spend a penny outside their gated characterless German owned hostel, staffed by non locals. When they do venture out to follow some parasol waving imbecile around ' the old town' they begrudge the 50 euros they have to spend on a bottle of water.

You get what you pay for, in this case it is very often salmonella.
