Clyde & Co partners who make over £1m a year fined just 10k for involvement in dubious financial arrangements and lack of money laundering checks. And someone having an internal heated argument where the public is in no way affected is fined 2k and slapped with costs of 32k. He probably had costs of his own too. Why couldn't the SRA have fined 2k and call it a day? Perhaps this is their way to keep solicitors (both their internal team as well as their outside team and counsel) "gainfully" employed 😳😳😳😳
