Hi Jim, are you from Convey law, the Conveyancing Association or Bonafidee? (My money's on the latter).

You are new to this. Getting the free press release on the LS Gazette is easy. I'd score you 5 / 10 as you forgot to include key words such as "life-changing enhanced deliverables" and "game-altering consumer confidence".

Ordinarily you would now be expected to launch into a tirade criticising all the existing solicitors and explain how we will all be bankrupt in three years time because we are luddites who don't move with the times. You also ought to be buying champagne for Law society council members as that way you can get them to use our money to promote your private company's interests. Just don't mention "veyo" to any of them.

Just one quick question for you.

How does the client sign the Deed as per section 52(1) Law of Property Act 1925 and Rule 58 Land Registration Rules 2003 (as amended)?

Would the answer be: "they have to sign them in person anyway, so there is no logistical benefit to having the contract signed electronically, which if necessary has been possible to do so for about 15 years or so anyway, as the client still signs at least one or two pieces of paper in ink so going online to 'sign' the third document online is just a marketing gimmick"?
