Anon 15:19, I dont see how the two can reconcile. The 'up north' lot participated in a savage, calculated purposeful scam over a period of years and is utterly disgraceful. It should never be attempted to be used in a "one rule for non whites and another for whites' sort of way.

What they have done, the whole industry knows, is being repeated left right and centre by many firms. How they get away with it i will never know. They have unjustifiably given all such equivalent firms a bad name.

There is a disparity and disconnect in the SRA. They will seek out the easy target. It happens in all walks of life. A road traffic infringement will see you get pursued until your cilvil liberties and human rights are infringed to the point of having none left. A burglar will walk free because of lack of evidence.

Another article in the gazette refers to a judge who spoke of 'vulnerable clients not having legal representation. The offence - was asking a street ranger for 50p as she had no money and was partially homeless. Ranger said no, she did not ask again. Yet she is looking at a custodial sentence for breaching some asbo by doing the above. Life is unfair and always will be.
