It is all very well forcing regulated firms to publish their prices, but what about unregulated firms?

For example, last Saturday on Radio 4's Money Box programme there was a discussion about a lady from Hessle, East Yorkshire, who was subject to high pressure sales tactics for buying a protective property trust for her & her husband when the husband was terminally ill. The cost was over £3,000 and from what I could make out, the advice was questionable and the price certainly much higher than a regulated solicitor would charge.

If solicitors are to publish their Will prices (even if in bands for different types of Wills) there is nothing to force unregulated providers to do the same.
