Why can't they just make it completely clear to everyone that really they very much frown upon solicitors charging anything at all for anything!!

And what about all other lack of transparency which goes on everywhere in the legal sector with all those multitudinous middle men all jockeying for position and scavenging money and all the law firms desperately trying to jump 'into bed' with them at whatever cost to them and their clients. The system is riddled and rife with such conflict - and what does the LSB do about it? Why, it turns a blind eye - of course and does sweet FA other than a bit of mealy mouthed posturing.
