The CMA and i have exchanged emails. More of us should contact them direct. We should also contact LSB.
The "transparency" agenda and the removal of regulation is all to do with "research" which states that people and small businesses find legal fees too high.
i pointed out to CMA that the restriction of legal aid was the issue. CMA said, as did LSB, that it couldnt comment on legal aid as that was an issue for Government. SRA are doing the LSBs bidding by getting rid of relevant regulation and restriction. Given The Law Society set up the SRA why don't The Law Society and its Council get rid of the SRA.
This is an absolute disgrace and the people responsible are CMA and LSB but none of them are accountable to us. The SRA should be accountable to us but aren't.
