Please someone, stop this nonsense. We are being led by fools who know nothing about the real world and who have fallen under the spell of Legal Futurists and the like.
What we need are more resources for courts so that they can run efficiently as opposed to starving them of resources and calling this "efficiency". We need more sittings and less obsession with digitalisation.
The piloted Digital Mark Up in Sunderland has created delay so they have reverted to having staff-not the Court Legal Advisers-update the system-which actually makes such perfect sense one wonders why they didn't think of it in the first place.
