If your case is founded on poor evidence and flawed syllogism then your case is a poor one.

Claims costs have increased due to the following reasons.

1. cars are now more expensive to repair,

2. more people have more expensive cars which costs more to repair and the replacement hire costs are higher,

3. more people have LEI than before so are induced by their insurer to claim when it would originally have been knock for knock (also see insurer claimant ABS's ahem 'hello birds hello sky')

But on the flip side the numbers of claims are coming down, costs associated with claims have come down hugely, claims are now more cost effective to run to trial and so more are defended and won / economic wins and it is never easier than to plead (or rather not plead but 'nudge nudge wink wink ... photography . . . say no more!') fraud.

So let's engage with the ABI, Government and say bring out your evidence and let's see it, let's hope Louise Ellman MP deals with this rather than Richard Burgon MP.
