We've reached the ludicrous situation where one Solicitor who's practised almost daily in the local Mags Ct for 30 years is searched whilst his 16 yr old daughter doing work experience in the Mags Ct Office is deemed to be 'staff' and waved through. Another who sat as an Employment Tribunal Chairman in the morning was waved through but when going to weigh off a Criminal client in the afternoon he's searched.
