Don't intend to Anon! Like I said Unions have come and gone! Perfectly organised unions with perhaps the most passionate representatives. Like I said earlier, it is lost cause. Providing an Interpreter for court proceedings is no longer a procedural matter, but a lip service and tick on checklist.

As to Criminal Defence Service work and the LAA, please don't get me started on that as they are a law unto themselves.

When you are working with the LAA, you don't guardian angels; what you need is an assessor on your shoulder counting all the minutes and seconds that you spend on a file and forgetting all the hours that you have not billed for. And in these straightened times can every firm employ a costs draughtsman???
