I wonder if any lessons will be learnt from S&G's disastrous venture into the UK market? I doubt it. These days memories are short and there is a cyclical monotony in their repetition. Every fool, before falling into the same trap, thinks that he/she has identified the predecessor's errors and has found a way of succeeding where they failed.
