What about those cases such as the first instance cases related to Select Car Rentals v ESure - "The trial came before Mr Recorder Grundy on 30 October 2015. He concluded that the claimants had not proved even that they had been involved in the alleged accident at all. In the grand scheme of things, where do the 'very dodgy but not quite fraud' cases fall? I get the feeling that a not insignificant portion of the £336m of cases referred to by the insurers fall into this bracket...
