What errant and half witted nonsense.

Complaints data: what does this mean?

Does it mean the number of complaints received, and if so over what period? The % of complaints vs instructions? Do we record all complaints or just those which are either upheld at 1st tier or by the LEO? Do we have to say what the complaints are about, if so in what form and so on.

One cannot draw any proper inference from crude data regarding complaints.

As for price in PI, hmm let's see.

We work on a CFA so unless you mislead us, if you lose then you pay nothing.

If you succeed then you may be liable for a deduction of up to x% in the shortfall of inter partes vs solicitor own client costs but the extent of this cannot be determined until we know whether your case is dealt with in the MoJ portal, subject to fixed recoverable costs , whether additional non fixed recoverable costs are recovered or whether the claim is allocated to the multi track.

The amount of the bill and therefore the potential for deductions for shortfall also depends on the seniority of the fee earner dealing with the matter. Our hourly rates range form £80 per hour for a secretary through to £300 for a senior partner. We cannot therefore give an estimate as to the likely cost to you.

We will provide updates as to the costs and projection of costs, although this does not necessarily equate to any deduction from your damages as the matter proceeds. In some cases depending on whether you have existing legal expenses insurance we may not make any deduction from your damages but this is dependent on the t&c of that insurance and given we cannot advise generally we cannot suggest in which cases this will apply.

So that's going to be helpful.
