I think you have built a bit of a strawman either by accident or on purpose, but you have failed to address the actual point I make. The gist of my point re many other countries having no compensation or otherwise, was to demonstrate it wasn't unique, the population of countless countries survive in those circumstances, there is no public outcry, no collapse of society (yes, I know OTT) and so forth and that this 'access to justice' cry is only coming from lawyers and in the main, only those lawyers doing the lower value soft tissue injury and is really about their concern over their fees than any (non-perm, if you like) whiplash injury sent to them by a CMC or otherwise. That is the point I make.

As I see it, there is no public outcry about the current proposals and far more public concern over lawyers fees.
