I'm not surprised either- because the vast majority ( and not just 'straight' people ) really don't care . In my firm we regularly circulate over 50 employees ( many of whom are openly 'not straight') with diversity questionnaires and not one person has any interest in filling them in because they don't care either . If I were to walk into Tesco's and there was a sign outside informing me of the sexual preferences of their staff I would be rather surprised, more than that, I would consider them to be ridiculous - I wonder why they don't have a sign ??? is it because they don't have a 'regulator' perhaps Tesco's can be trusted to act fairly - clearly the bar cant .
