Absolutely, anon the last. I remember many years ago selecting those chambers to whom I wished to apply for pupillage. One year, in a fit indifference, I chose to apply only to those chambers whose membership included at least one barrister with a degree from somewhere other than Oxford, Cambridge or Canterbury. Of all those offering pupillage in that round, I couldn't fill the full 12 available slots with chambers operating in my chosen area of practise that met the criteria.
