Advocacy is not for the faint hearted. Rude judges are a fact of life. Professional advocates, of all people, really should be able to turn it on and off in court, and not take rudeness to heart. It's game play, in exactly the same way the self same advocates are required from time to time to turn up the heat underneath witnesses. You come out of court, and it comes off with the robe.
