My guess is the "review" will conclude that whilst there have been issues LASPO is fundamentally good. It is right thst legal aid is limited because that way the Daily Mail is kept quiet. If ordinary citizens wish to enforce their rights then they ought to pay for it. Whilst human rights lawyers and Lefty Liberal types have whinged a bit it is clear that the real experts ie Senior Judges love LASPO and the reform agenda and so its a good thing.
Anyway when we spoke to the leaders of the professions at a lovely dinner we heard complaints but nothing substantive due to the fact theyd all had a jolly good time.
We've cut fees to LGFS because that's what the Bar wanted in exchange for their cooperation so that's a good thing.
We dont like Solicitors. We want Capita to take over public funded legal advice as that would be cheaper.
