When I read the steady and depressing MOJ justice propaganda, I look across the pond to envy the relative robustness of the Rule of Law there.

Like all democracies the U.S.A has its problems, but the Rule of Law is seen as the engine of democracy, where even Presidents are constrained in their actions.

I look at the U.K legal profession and sigh as to what could be possible, if only the Law Society would energise itself into something called leadership.
