Sorry there are quotas in Norway and it works! My close friend was head of the unions there. Human nature at times needs sadly to be regulated - and testosterone sure is one of those characteristics that needs to be curtailed in the workplace. It’s fine for women who have succeeded to reach the top as they no doubt had the right ‘men’ around them / I was also very lucky and grateful to those good men who are indeed my personal heroes. However I have also had the other ... we need quotas and we need monitoring of behaviours. There are far far more women that never reach their true potential than those that do. Easy for those who have succeeded to say quotas are not needed. What about who never did ? They are the important women to ask. I know lots of women whose careers have ended due to the male bully culture - brilliant lawyers and barristers - so many tears at the hurt of working so hard - being so good and stamped on until they conceded or ousted. And we shouldn’t need to be like men - we are women - accept us for what we are we our empathy and nurturing characteristics that so often are interpreted as weak as it dies but fit the macho ruthless bad cop culture. Bring in quotas now. It appears to me that asserting LGBT is now given more priority than women- and whilst I feel
Both should have Equality I do feel we are being forgotten. I don’t see great change.
