Here’s a wee job that can help inform you and clients when you get the “how much?”.
Work out how much your property transactions were sales and purchases separately (value of properties) in a week or month.
Work out how much you sent to estate agents-and what % that is of sales?
Work out how much you spent on searches-keep the vat separately and what % that is.
Do likewise for vat and sdlt.
Now do the same for your costs.

Whose the winner?
Who is second?
Who is third?
Who is fourth?

Stick that on the price comparison website.
