I've just looked up "Dr Jane Martin CBE", and I see that she has a history with local authorities and public services. In other words, she has never done a days legal work in her life.

These aren't complicated concepts for even people like her to understand. We charge according to time and complexity, which varies from case to case. It's IMPOSSIBLE for us to publish a price list and then stick to it. That's why we provide estimates of fees in advance and then review as necessary.
