Report comment

Having just read the report, I see no significant advantage to publish any fee data. It concludes in all scenarios that there is a slight reduction in fees for those published on a website than to those that are not.

There is a significant omission in this report regarding the quality of the work undertaken. This surely must be addressed in conjunction with pricing to give the client a fuller understanding of the work they need to be undertaken. One of the LSB's objectives is quality so why is there no mention of it here.

The survey comprised 1,506 telephone interviews with a range of legal service providers so really not that wide ranging, but on the information gathered it is well written.
