This is rather more complicated than it looks. There is a standard Welsh (often referred to as "BBC Welsh") but like received pronunciation, it tends to be used by a minority. In North Wales there can be wide variations in the Welsh spoken from one valley to the next. In my experience, swearing and counting are always conducted in English.
