And the SRA proceeds to throw good money after bad - knowing full well that it's not its money and it won't, ultimately, have to pick up the tab. Can I ask the SRA how much the appeal is going to cost and, as this is bound to be 'a significant financial burden for the profession', whether it will please refrain from so doing because I - and, I suspect, most of the profession - don't want to have to underwrite its continued profligacy!
