I have combined a legal career with being a school governor for over twenty years. During that time, I hope that I have managed to give something back to the community.
I agree with Scep Tick. Who on earth has to make a business case to be a school governor? Has the world gone mad?
All of the time that I have given to being a school governor has been in the evenings. If this person's firm expect her to regularly work every evening - My dear you are with the wrong firm! get out now!
