It is astounding the number of comments on here that show lawyers who are unable to differentiate between a breach of contract (such as parking without paying) and repeatedly committing fraud. As the sentencing judge said , this was not a moment of madness. He made the decision to do this repeatedly.
London lawyer - Yes we al male mistakes. We're human. However being human does not mean you are dishonest and it certainly does mean one commits fraud. Those that do should not be providing legal services to the public. It isn't as if the Code of Conduct is a secret and to be Frank, with something as blatant as "don't commit fraud" it is a shame people need to be told at all.
