If this effort makes it any harder for "rent a chimp" conveyancing factories to make money at the expense of professional service providers then this is to be welcomed; however, as with many of these all too tentative initiatives it is unlikely to do more than further burden the Land Registry with tasks of no significance to its ultimate purpose.
