This article conveniently misses the point of the complaints, which is apparent from the comments on the other article.

It is this. There is a strong suspicion being voiced on that page that there has been an illegal breach of personal data, by whom I have no idea, which has facilitated the cold-calling (whether knowingly or unknowingly) of former clients up to two years after their case has been concluded, encouraging them to have a go and make a claim, even in some cases where nothing at all has been deducted from damages.

That wastes huge amounts of time and in many cases is unpaid.

If that suspicion were justified, then it would be highly unsavoury on any analsyis.

So please put our minds at rest and tell us how you and the other firms are collecting the names of clients. There are only a small handful of firms involved. Please don't tell us it is through search engine optimisation. Real personal injury claimants do not wake up suddenly thinking of making these claims two years later, and it is improbable that they would all end up instructing the same firm to act for them.
