I don’t doubt that certain firms are subject to investigation for potentially dishonest practice. That said, it isn’t as widespread as you would have us believe.

In any event, do you really consider it appropriate to discuss your employer’s commercial affairs on this forum in order to score points against lawyers? I have examples of poor defendant insurer or solicitor practice but confidentiality prevents me from going into detail (even in anonymous terms).
