Very worrying developments.

Being personally very well acquainted with Poland through ancestry and family ties, it is disheartening to see a country that has progressed so much in so many ways over the course of the last 20 years regressing on such an important issue.

It's even more worrying that the current regime enjoys so much support, given Poland's history over the last two centuries under the oppressive yolks of the Iron Curtain, the Third Reich and the Russian Empire.
