This takes virtue-signalling to a new level, which is why of course Mrs May and Mr Corbyn were too quick to flash their credentials. Virtue-signalling is expected of politicians, it is what they do. It has no place in law and I say this without disrespect to the author whose view is no doubt genuinely and sincerely held.
