A client retainer is a contract. Attempting to induce someone to breach a contract (by third party capture or otherwise) is a tort.

Why not sue them for damages & costs on each case and apply for an injunction?

If they did it to me I'd give serious consideration to asking the court to attach a penal notice to the injunction, naming the individual handler (if possible) and/or the chief exec, and then have some fun...
