its strange how claimants are ever so nice to you, sign all the paperwork and are fully aware of the deduction of 25% as stipulated by the GOVERNMENT UNDER STATUTE. They then decide after been cold called to try and recover for example £750 taken out of their damages. Meanwhile , if the case gets litigated , the claimant solicitors has done over £6000 of work but will only get fixed cost. I may be wrong but technically we can recover all or most of the reasonable costs from the client if we want!
