I am still and was at the time of the acts of fraud committed by Ms Lindo the COLP of O'Neill Patient Solicitors and I think it would be helpful to set the record straight.
Immediately following the discovery just over 4 years ago of the shocking events that ultimately lead to Ms Lindo’s imprisonment, (and the fraud was very quickly discovered) a full review of our IT systems was carried out and new security measures were implemented to mitigate against the risk of any re-occurrence. Thankfully no further losses of this type have impacted on this Firm since but none of us involved in conveyancing can afford to be complacent, I also must emphasise that no client suffered any financial loss as a result of Ms Lindo’s actions
