I have just read the judgment as well. We have twO versions of events and I have to say which version I find more compelling and credible, having for me the ring of truth as it does. This situation could have been avoided and the fault lies with the SRA and their weak and inconsistant decision making policies. I would guess they would have had Mr Clarke's response to the allegations when they made the decision to compromise proceedings, against the others. The two cases were 10 days apart not months and there was no reason why they should not have gone before the same Tibunal members if only to ensure consistancy. I actually feel sorry for Mr Clarke.
